Connect your Shopify store

Bring your Shopify products, prices and stock into Hapro, and keep them up to date.

Updated 24 Oct 2026

To connect Shopify, select Connect on the Shopify card in Settings → Integrations, enter your Shopify admin address and approve the connection in your own Shopify admin. Hapro then uses the same products, prices and stock as your store, and there are no API keys to copy.

Connect

  1. Open Settings → Integrations.
  2. On the Shopify card, select Connect.
  3. Enter Your Shopify admin address. It ends in .myshopify.com and is not your shop's public web address. You can find it in Shopify admin under Settings → Domains.
  4. Select Continue to Shopify.
  5. Shopify asks you to approve access to your products, stock and orders. Approve it.
  6. You come back to Integrations, and your products start coming across.

You can also connect from the guided setup: in the Products step, choose Connect your store, enter Your Shopify admin address and select Connect to Shopify.

An owner or administrator connects stores. Each connected store counts towards your plan's connected systems allowance.

What comes across

  • Products, with their name, description, product type and whether each one is active, draft or archived.
  • Variants, with each variant's name, SKU, barcode and price.
  • Stock, as the available quantity of each variant at each location.
  • Collections, which become categories.

Product images are not brought across.

Keeping it up to date

  • Hapro checks your Shopify store for changes every 15 minutes and runs a full sync every night.
  • To bring a change across straight away, open Settings → Integrations and select Sync now on your Shopify store's card.
  • Select Sync history on the same card to see each sync, with how many records were seen, created, updated and failed. Test connection on that page checks that Hapro can still reach your store.

If your Shopify store has several locations

Each Shopify location has to be matched to a Hapro location before its stock can come across. Contact us and we will set this up with you. Until then, stock for those locations is not imported.

Products managed by Shopify

Products from Shopify show Managed by Shopify on the Products page. Their details, prices and stock come from Shopify, so change them there, not in Hapro. A spreadsheet import cannot change them either.

Orders

Orders taken in Hapro are not sent to Shopify at the moment. You can see them on the Orders page in Hapro.

Disconnecting

On your Shopify store's card in Settings → Integrations, select Disconnect, then confirm. Hapro removes its app from your store and stops syncing. Your products stay in Hapro, and their prices and stock become yours to edit by hand.

If you uninstall the Hapro app from your Shopify admin instead, Hapro also stops syncing and deletes its access to your store.
